Chatsworth 17, Canoga Park 0--Chris Husted kicked a 37-yard field goal with no time remaining in the first half to give the Chancellors a 3-0 lead in their conference opener at Chatsworth.

Jeff Jones scored on a 3-yard run with 3:35 left in the third quarter to extend Chatsworth’s lead to 10-0.

Quarterback Tyler Johnston, replacing injured Chris Johnson, scored the final touchdown on a 4-yard run in the fourth quarter. Johnston completed 4 of 11 passes for 66 yards and had 2 passes intercepted. Chatsworth’s Kyle Beck led all rushers with 65 yards in 13 carries.

Tony Olivas and Greg Knapp intercepted passes for the Hunters, who were held to 68 yards in total offense.
