The Cleveland Cavaliers matched the Washington Bullets’ $5-million, 5-year offer sheet for point guard Mark Price, who averaged about 15 points and 6 assists last season, his second in the National Basketball Assn.

Price said he had been stunned by the size of the Bullets’ offer. He earned $175,000 last season.

“I was absolutely flabbergasted,” Price said.
