Bill Walsh, San Francisco 49ers coach, said Joe Montana is his starting quarterback, as long as he is 100% physically able to perform.
Walsh became embroiled in controversy earlier this week when he announced that Steve Young would start Sunday against the Phoenix Cardinals because Montana was not fully healthy.
Walsh said he and Montana had talked and cleared up the disagreement.
