Montclair Prep Guard Undergoes Surgery
Montclair Prep basketball player Craig Handschu, the state’s highest-scoring returning guard, underwent surgery Wednesday to repair tendon and cartilage damage and to remove a bone chip in his left knee, according to Coach Bob Webb.
Handschu, who is averaging 28 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds a game, will remain in Valley Presbyterian Hospital.
