Dana Hills 4, Irvine 0--Ann Viceroy, Molly Sullivan, Megan Fosberg and Amy Kroeger scored in the first half for visiting Dana Hills (11-2-4, 1-0). Karla Gunderson had 3 saves for Dana Hills. Irvine is 6-3, 0-2.

In the Empire League:

El Dorado 4, Katella 0--Theresa Korte scored 2 goals, Amy Ertle and Cherri Morris 1 each for host El Dorado (7-1-4, 1-0-1). Katella didn’t have a shot on goal.

In the Garden Grove League:

La Quinta 6, Rancho Alamitos 0--Stefanie Stucker and Robin Karnes scored 2 goals each for host La Quinta (6-2, 1-0). Valerie Swaim and Cheryl Jones also scored for La Quinta. Rancho Alamitos didn’t take a shot.

Santa Margarita 4, Whittier Christian 2--Allie Werve and Erica Gambale scored 2 goals each for host Santa Margarita (4-1-1, 3-1).

In the Pacific Coast League:

Laguna Hills 3, Laguna Beach 0--Suzy Kim, Kelly Traxel, and Amy Foster scored for host Laguna Hills (3-7-2, 1-0).

Orange 6, Trabuco Hills 3--Debbie Ford scored 3 goals and Angela Darragh 2 to lead host Orange (5-0-2) in the league opener. Linda Lungeford scored 3 goals for Trabuco Hills.

In the Sea View League:

Newport Harbor 3, Tustin 2--After a scoreless first half, Erica Whisler, Courtney Augustine and Laura Teal scored as visiting Tustin opened a 3-0 second-half lead in the league opener. Newport Harbor got late goals from Dawn Baird and Heather Webb.

University 4, Corona del Mar 2--Jane Sorenson scored 2 goals, Shana Novegrod and Julie Simpson 1 each for host University (5-6, 1-0). Prentice Perkins and Julie Smith scored for Corona del Mar.

In the Sunset League:

Edison 4, Fountain Valley 0--Amy Lund scored 2 goals to lead visiting Fountain Valley (7-6-1, 2-0-1). Briana Winter and Kerry McGrath scored for Fountain Valley, and Nikki Turner had 11 saves.
