Aggie Garcia keyed a fourth-quarter rally that wiped out a 14-point Van Nuys High lead and forced an overtime, allowing Reseda to escape with a 60-57 Mid-Valley League win Friday at Van Nuys.

The Regents, two-time defending City Section 3-A Division champions, trailed by 2 at halftime, and the deficit grew to 14 after Stacie Toon scored 12 of her 25 points in the third quarter. Toon also dominated the boards through 3 quarters and finished with 21 rebounds.

But Garcia and Jennifer Marzahl, who combined for 32 rebounds, neutralized Toon in the final period as Reseda outscored Van Nuys, 23-9, to tie the score, 55-55, at the end of regulation.
