Oceanside Woman Shot While in Her Car
An Oceanside woman was shot several times Sunday morning while parked in her car at the Plaza Camino Real in Carlsbad.
Witnesses told Carlsbad police they saw Sherie Sisson, 27, quarreling with a man identified as Emmet Davis, whom police believe was Sisson’s former boyfriend, about 11 a.m. Davis allegedly shot her after the quarrel and fled in a car.
Sisson was flown by Life Flight helicopter to Scripps Memorial Hospital-La Jolla, where she was in serious condition Sunday, a hospital spokeswoman said.
