Agoura Soccer Coach to Resign After Playoffs

Dave Godwin, the Agoura High girls’ soccer coach who in five years led the Chargers to three consecutive Southern Section 2-A Division championships, announced his resignation Monday effective the end of the season. No replacement has been named.
Godwin, 49, said he plans to enter the teaching credential program at Cal Lutheran in the fall and that a time conflict would prevent him from continuing to coach.
