Top rap acts, including several who threatened to boycott the Grammy ceremonies today, are planning to attend an MTV-hosted post-Grammys party tonight. According to an MTV spokeswoman, nominees J.J. Fad, Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, Salt-N-Pepa and Kool Moe Dee are among those expected at the party, which will feature a rap and scratch jam by those and other performers, including Ice-T. The location of the private party, which will be videotaped for use on MTV Music News segments and on the “Yo! MTV Raps” series, is not being revealed to the public.
