Josh Parks, a sophomore midfielder, scored from six yards with 5 minutes left in overtime to give The Bishop’s School (15-4-3) a 1-0 victory over the Army-Navy Academy (11-4-3) Friday in the San Diego Section 1-A boys’ soccer championship match at San Diego High School.

The schools had split two matches during the regular season and were scoreless after 85 minutes of play Friday until Phillip Button passed to Charlie Marshall, whose shot from 13 feet was deflected by the Army-Navy goalie.

Button took the deflection and, with his back to the goal, passed left to Parks, who scored the winning goal.
