Cerritos Beats Chabot for State JC Title, 85-76

Cerritos, led by forward Andre Edwards, overcame a 10-point deficit in the second half to defeat Chabot, 85-76, and win its third State junior college basketball championship Saturday night at Santa Clara.
Edwards scored 21 of his game-high 33 points in the second half.
Cerritos (31-4) was behind, 57-47, with 17:09 left when it went on a 21-2 run.
Byron Daye scored 31 points for Chabot (30-8), of Hayward.
