Fresno State football Coach Jim Sweeney was fined $970 on a misdemeanor drunk driving charge at Bass Lake, Calif.
Sierra Justice Court Judge Dennis Scott also placed Sweeney on five years’ unsupervised probation and ordered him to complete a 12-hour alcohol education class.
Sweeney must also perform 40 hours of community service.
