U.S. Women Face Canadian Team in Volleyball Tonight

SAN DIEGO — The U.S. women’s volleyball team opens a four-match series against Canada at 7:30 tonight at San Pasqual High School in Escondido.

The U.S. team will be trying to re-establish its dominance over Canada after a loss to the Canadians in July that knocked the U.S. out of a berth in the World Cup in Japan.

The teams will meet Wednesday at Southwestern College, Friday at Carlsbad High School and Saturday at Grossmont College. All matches will begin at 7:30 p.m.
