Antelope Valley 23, Bakersfield Foothill 21--Wayne Walters rushed for 132 yards in 23 carries and scored one touchdown to lift Antelope Valley over host Foothill.

Foothill pulled to within 23-21 on quarterback John Baker’s seven-yard touchdown run with 1:30 left. But Baker’s conversion pass attempt was intercepted by defensive back Freddy Edwards, sealing the Antelopes’ victory.

Antelope Valley lost two fumbles and gave up one interception but outgained Foothill on the ground, 177-77.
