Glendale 20, Burroughs 14-- Sophomore tailback Pathon Rucker rushed for 173 yards and a touchdown in 28 carries to lead the Dynamiters at Glendale.

Glendale (2-2) increased a five-point fourth-quarter lead to 18-7 when quarterback Eric Kiesau connected on a 40-yard touchdown pass to John Martell. Burroughs (1-3) had two chances to overcome a 12-7 deficit in the third quarter but twice fumbled exchanges from center within the Glendale five-yard line.

Rucker, who rushed for 237 yards last week against Bell-Jeff, scored his touchdown on a 40-yard run in the first quarter to cap an 80-yard drive. He carried the ball on all eight plays of the drive.
