Birmingham 28, North Hollywood 14--The combination of Danny Larson and Jake Brescher carried the Braves to a win at Birmingham.

Larson, the quarterback, connected on seven of 18 for 188 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed eight times for 84 yards and two scores. Brescher caught four passes for 158 yards, scored on a 61-yard reception and kicked four PATs.

North Hollywood (0-6, 0-3) scored first on a 46-yard run by Leon Gable but Larson answered on Birmingham’s second play with a 70-yard option run.

Birmingham (4-1, 2-1) got a big second-half boost from tailback Darrell Moore, who finished with 124 yards in seven rushes.
