No Foul: Crown Quest Wins at Aqueduct

NEW YORK — Centennial Farm’s Crown Quest withstood a claim of foul by Herb McCauley, rider of runner-up Victory Party, to score a neck victory in the $48,200 Tiltalating Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Aqueduct on Monday.
Crown Quest, ridden by Angel Cordero Jr. and carrying 118 pounds, remained undefeated in three career starts with the win in 1:11 3-5 for six furlongs over a fast track.
The daughter of Chief’s Crown-Glorious Quest earned $28,920 and returned $3, $2.40 and $2.20. Victory Party paid $3.20 and $2.60; Crafty Dot, Dennis Carr and 116, was another 2 1/2 lengths back in the field of five and returned $3 to show.
