SOUTHERN SECTION FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS : Pairings Set for Quarterfinals

Top-seeded Capistrano Valley High School will meet Santa Ana in the quarterfinals of the Division III football playoffs at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Santa Ana Stadium.

El Toro, the second-seeded team in the division, won a coin flip Saturday at the Southern Section office in Cerritos and will play host to Villa Park Friday night at a site to be determined.

Laguna Hills, which shares Mission Viejo’s stadium with El Toro, won a coin flip and will play host to Agoura Friday. Officials from Laguna Hills and El Toro will meet to determine which team will play at Mission Viejo. The alternate site is Irvine.

Redlands (9-2) vs. Loyola (9-1) at Glendale HS

Long Beach Poly (9-1) at San Gorgonio (8-3)

Division III

Hart (10-1) at Paramount (10-1)

Mission Viejo (9-2) vs. Dominguez (8-3) at Gahr HS
