PREP SOCCER ROUNDUP : Esperanza Boots Westminster, 10-0
Four players scored two goals each as Esperanza High School defeated Westminster, 10-0, in a nonleague girls’ soccer match Tuesday at Westminster.
Michelle Rullo, Lynn Murray, Jennifer Gulden and Karen Van Winkle scored two goals each for Esperanza (5-1). Jenise Webb and Jill Cieslak had one goal each.
In other nonleague girls’ soccer:
Los Alamitos 6, Long Beach Millikan 1--Julie Harris and Jenny Reyes scored two goals each for the Griffins (4-0) at home.
Katella 3, Fullerton 2--Dominique Dalton, Cindy LaClair and Carol Hipp scored for host Katella.
El Dorado 4, Rosary 0--Amy Ertle scored twice for host El Dorado (3-0-1).
Dana Hills 3, Fountain Valley 1--Heidi Phillips, Stacey Juhl and Amy Kroeger scored for host Dana Hills.
