THE SIDELINES : Cherry Hills to Host Senior Open

DENVER —
Cherry Hills golf course has been approved by the United States Golf Assn. as the site of the 14th U.S. Senior Open in July, 1993.
The Senior PGA Tour has attracted an increasing star-studded lineup. Arnold Palmer, who will be approaching his 64th birthday, is expected to participate in the 1993 tournament, and Jack Nicklaus becomes eligible for senior play later this month, when he turns 50.
