NATION : Pilot Hurt in Marine Jet Crash

WILLOW GROVE, Pa. —
A Marine fighter jet crashed this morning on a landing approach to Willow Grove Naval Air Station, injuring the pilot and damaging at least one business and some nearby homes, the Navy said.
The pilot of the single-seat plane ejected before the craft hit the ground and burst into flames, authorities said.
He was taken to Abington Memorial Hospital where a spokesman said he was in stable condition and alert.
