PREP BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Orange Lutheran Defeats Brethren

Brian Bedord had 20 points to lead Orange Lutheran High School to a 57-45 victory over Brethren in an Olympic League boys’ basketball game Friday at Orange Lutheran.

Daryl Cole had 18 points and Kent Dowding had eight points, eight rebounds and eight assists to lead Orange Lutheran (11-9, 5-4). Todd Mitchell had 20 points for Brethren (12-5, 5-3).

Valley Christian 51, Santa Margarita 47--Brent Van Kampen scored 16 points to lead Valley Christian (14-6, 7-2) at home. Dan Bathey scored 23 points and Mike Carpenter scored 14 for Santa Margarita (8-10, 5-4).
