THE SIDELINES : Prep Star Ciasca to Be Wildcat

TUCSON —
Mike Ciasca of Sahuaro High School, rated one of the nation’s top offensive linemen by most evaluators of high school talent, said he will play for the Arizona Wildcats in his hometown.
“I decided I want to help start a tradition,” he said Sunday.
Ciasca, who is 6 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 290 pounds, said he visited Michigan, USC and the University of Arizona.
He said he never considered rival Arizona State because “I grew up in Tucson, and you learn to hate ASU.”
