JUNIOR COLLEGE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS
Canyons 91, Mira Costa 81--Tressie Millender scored 24 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and had five steals to lead host Canyons in the Southern California regional final.
Dawn Coleman (19 points), Dee Dee Hinson (14) and Michelle Cabaldon (13) also scored in double figures for the Lady Cougars (25-7). Guard Keira Irwin scored six points and had 18 assists.
