Share

How difficult is it to score a run--or even get a hit--against the Sylmar High softball team? So far, very difficult.

Through six games, the Spartans have yet to surrender a run or a hit while breezing to a 6-0 nonleague record.

Sophomore right-handers Krystina Moore and Ruby Gonzalez have alternated pitching no-hitters, combining on a string of 42 no-hit innings.

On Thursday, Moore pitched her third no-hitter, striking out 13 and walking two as the Spartans breezed to a 17-0 win over visiting Palisades. No runner advanced farther than second base.
