Claude Gilbert, ousted as San Jose State’s football coach last week, said he plans to fight his dismissal.
Gilbert, 57, was removed as coach in the wake of differences between him and Athletic Director Randy Hoffman, who had filed a negative review of his performance and recommended his ouster. Gilbert said he will file a grievance.
