ORANGE COUNTY ALL-STAR FOOTBALL GAME : Los Alamitos’ Gragnano Heads North Selections

Los Alamitos High School quarterback Todd Gragnano, the fifth-leading passer in Southern Section history, heads the list of selections for the North team in the 31st Orange County all-star football game July 6 in Orange Coast College’s LeBard Stadium.

Gragnano passed for 6,140 yards during his three-year career. He led Los Alamitos to the Division III championship game in his sophomore and junior seasons, and last year passed for 2,315 yards and 19 touchdowns.

Teammate Erik Mitchell will join Gragnano on the North squad. Mitchell gained 1,011 yards in 161 carries last season.

Tom Meiss, who led Orange to the Division VIII championship game, will coach the North.
