PREP ROUNDUP : Canyon’s Kyriazis Sets School Mark for Hits

Senior Krissy Kyriazis set the Canyon High School single-season record for hits as the Comanches defeated Santa Ana, 11-1, in a Century League softball game Wednesday at Canyon.
Kyriazis was four for five against Santa Ana and has 36 hits this season for Canyon (20-6, 7-2). Nikki Lewis had 34 hits last season.
In Pacific Coast League softball:
Woodbridge 2, Laguna Beach 0--Alisha Nelson (14-9) pitched a one-hitter and had 11 strikeouts as Woodbridge (17-10, 9-1) clinched the league title.
