Landeros Powers Chapman’s Victory
Mark Landeros had two hits, scored twice and had a two-run home run to lead host Chapman College to a 9-6 victory over Cal Poly Pomona in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. baseball game at Cal State Long Beach Thursday.
Chapman’s Jason Rolish had three hits, including a triple and a double, and had three runs batted in and Mike Giuseffi had four hits, scored and had one RBI. Chapman improved to 32-19 and 18-10 in conference and Cal Poly Pomona is 15-35, 8-20.
Pete Coleman (10-5) allowed 16 hits and struck out eight for a complete-game victory.
