Van Nuys Ruth Team Loses 3rd-Round Game
The Jefferson Parish team from New Orleans collected nine hits and eight walks Tuesday against three Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks pitchers en route to a 9-3 victory in a third-round game of the Babe Ruth World Series in Houma, La.
Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks (15-3) will play Olathe, Kansas, tonight at 8 in an elimination game.
