Hollywood Freeway Lanes to Be Closed
The California Department of Transportation began a three-month road rebuilding project Tuesday night that will require shutting down various lanes of the Hollywood Freeway between Chandler and Victory boulevards in North Hollywood.
Caltrans plans the work between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. weekdays. After mid-September, the project will also involve work on the weekends.
Also Tuesday night, Caltrans began reconstructing the median guardrail on a stretch of the Ventura Freeway between the Hollywood Freeway and Pass Avenue in Burbank.
