Stab Victim Reaches Firemen Before Dying
A young Glendale man, fatally stabbed during a fight at a Glassell Park birthday party, managed to drive himself to a nearby fire station for help late Saturday before dying at Glendale Memorial Hospital, police said.
The victim was identified as Miguel Noriega, 21, Detective Joe Friend of the Los Angeles Police Department said. Friend said it was not clear when the stabbing occurred. Reports indicate police were summoned to the hospital about 12:40 a.m.
Friend said reports showed Noriega had attended a birthday party on Verdugo Road when he became involved in the fatal fight.
