California IN BRIEF : NORTHERN CALIFORNIA : 2 Quakes Cause No Injuries or Damage

Two mild earthquakes rattled Northern California over the weekend but no injuries or damage were reported. A temblor registering 3.0 occurred on the San Francisco Peninsula, the state Office of Emergency Services said. It was centered seven miles southwest of Menlo Park, 23 miles south of San Francisco. A 4.0 quake struck three miles south of San Juan Bautista, about 35 miles south of San Francisco, Emergency Services officials said.
