Wilmington Banning High finally got on track Thursday night with a 34-18 victory over Woodland Hills Taft in a nonleague City game at Taft.

The victory was just what Banning Coach Joe Dominguez needed. His team had lost six consecutive games.

“There’s no doubt it was a big win for us,” Dominguez said. “Now I can finally get a haircut in town.”
