* Deon Figures, Colorado, sophomore: The former Serra High defensive back intercepted a pass in the end zone on fourth-and-goal with 59 seconds remaining to preserve a 20-14 victory over Washington. Figures, who finished with six tackles and two interceptions, was named Colorado’s player of the week.

* Brian Brown, UCLA, senior: The former Gardena running back rushed for 127 yards and one touchdown on a career-high 37 carries in a 30-20 victory over Washington State.

* Rocen Keeton, UCLA, senior: The former Serra linebacker had five unassisted tackles, four assists and one sack as the Bruins improved to 2-0 in the Pac-10 Conference.

* Jeff Cummins, Oregon, junior: The former Torrance and El Camino College defensive lineman had four tackles and one sack in a 32-16 upset over fourth-ranked Brigham Young.

* Mark Tucker, USC, senior: The former Banning offensive lineman helped pave the way for the Trojans’ season-high 331 yards rushing in a 35-26 victory over Ohio State.

* Aaron Craver, Fresno State, senior: The former El Camino running back rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries in a 38-3 victory over Cal State Fullerton.

* Treamelle Taylor, Nevada Reno, senior: The former Hawthorne and El Camino wide receiver had four catches for 38 yards and returned three punts for 115 yards, including an 87-yard touchdown, in a 31-28 overtime victory over Idaho.
