In other Sea View League boys’ cross-country:

Corona del Mar 19, Newport Harbor 38--Jack Hogan (16:14) finished first to lead the Sea Kings in a double dual meet that included a 21-36 victory over University at Fairview Park in Costa Mesa.

Newport Harbor 26, University 33--Mike Hancock (16:51) was the top finisher for Newport Harbor at Fairview Park.

In other Sea View League girls’ cross-country:

Newport Harbor 24, Corona del Mar 31--Newport Harbor’s Eva Mattson (20:01) finished second overall in a double dual meet at Fairview Park. The Sailors also beat University, 20-35.

Corona del Mar 20, University 41--Kristen McFarland (20:16) was the top finisher for Corona del Mar. University’s Tanya Brix (19:43) won at Fairview Park.

In Angelus League girls’ cross-country:

Santa Margarita 25, Bishop Amat 32--Kristen Matheson won in 20:10 for visiting Santa Margarita (1-0).

In Pacific Coast League boys’ cross-country:

Estancia 27, Laguna Beach 28--David Brobeck (15:51) won for Laguna Beach (1-1), but Estancia (2-0) won at Laguna Niguel Regional Park.

Laguna Hills 15, Trabuco Hills 45--Chris Lynch (16:06), Hiroki Kawainisha (16:15) and Dave Burnett (17:07) led a sweep of the first six places by host Laguna Hills (2-0).

In Pacific Coast League girls’ cross-country:

Laguna Beach 26, Estancia 29--Carrie Appell (20:49) won to lead Estancia (1-1).

In South Coast League girls’ cross-country:

Mission Viejo 21, Capistrano Valley 34--Sonja Hildebrand (19:08) won to lead Mission Viejo (3-0) at Laguna Niguel Regional Park.

El Toro 25, Dana Hills 30--Shannon Liddy (20:37) was the winner for El Toro (2-1) at O’Neill Park.

In Sunset League volleyball:

Marina 3, Huntington Beach 0--Cristin Rossman had 12 kills and four blocks and Cori Bown had five aces to lead host Marina (7-2, 5-0) to a 15-7, 15-5, 15-7 victory.

In Angelus League tennis:

Rosary 15, St. Joseph’s 3--Joyce Cruz won her singles sets, 6-1, 6-3, 6-0, and Rosary’s (9-2, 1-1) doubles teams also swept.

In Freeway League tennis:

Fullerton 9, Sonora 9 (Fullerton wins on games, 70-69)--Loraine Lau (6-0, 6-0, 6-0) and Kari Nelson (6-3, 6-0, 6-4) swept in singles for visiting Fullerton (2-5-1, 2-0).

In South Coast League girls’ tennis:

Dana Hills 9, Capistrano Valley 9 (Dana Hills wins on games, 73-70)--Anne Mall swept her sets, including a victory over Page Bartelt in the final set, 6-2, to lead host Dana Hills (9-1, 2-0).

Laguna Hills 13, Trabuco Hills 5--Noriko Hopkins swept her sets, 6-2, 6-1, 6-0, to lead Laguna Hills (3-10, 2-1) at Coto de Caza.

In Sunset League girls’ tennis:

Fountain Valley 16, Westminster 2--Renee Urricariet swept, 6-1, 6-0, 6-0, and Michelle Berkowitz swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, to lead host Fountain Valley (8-3, 6-0).
