Belmont 24, Verdugo Hills 0--Verdugo Hills was held to just three yards rushing by a strong Belmont defense, and Belmont running back Tajh Evans gained 160 yards and scored on a three-yard run.
Verdugo Hills quarterback Noel Alvarado completed six of 12 for 99 yards.
