In other Valley Pac-8 Conference games:
Sylmar 40, Canoga Park 0--Sylmar running back Tobaise Brookins and quarterback Daniel Terry combined for 256 yards rushing and three touchdowns as the Spartans (4-0, 2-0) rolled past visiting Canoga Park (0-4, 0-2).
Brookins rushed for 135 yards in 17 carries and scored once. Terry added 121 yards in 11 carries and scored twice.
