El Segundo 38, St. Genevieve 0--Don Smith rushed for three touchdowns and a career-high 177 yards to lead host El Segundo (4-2-1, 1-1). Smith rushed for 174 yards and two scores in the first half and scored on a three-yard run in the third quarter.
Mike Mirolla led St. Genevieve (2-4, 0-1) with 86 yards rushing in eight carries. St. Genevieve quarterback Bobby Kite completed 11 of 26 passes for 163 yards but threw three interceptions. Ryan Jarrell made two of the interceptions and, after replacing Smith in the second half, rushed for 89 yards in seven carries.
