Cypress 3, El Dorado 0--Heather Lowe had 17 kills and Misty Hartung had 14 for host Cypress (10-3, 7-0) in a 15-6, 15-11, 15-9 victory.

Los Alamitos 3, Katella 0--Luann Petix had seven kills as the visiting Griffins (9-4, 7-2) won, 15-2, 15-4, 15-8.

Esperanza 3, Loara 2--Julie Greer had 19 kills and host Esperanza (5-6, 5-2) won 15-13, 10-15, 15-12, 15-17, 15-8.

In Sea View League volleyball:

Newport Harbor 3, University 2--Tara Kroesch had 20 kills and Maureen McLaren had 15 as visiting Newport Harbor (11-4, 5-2) won 9-15, 15-2, 10-15, 15-1, 15-12.

In Angelus League tennis:

Rosary 14, St. Joseph 4--The No. 1 doubles team of Carolyn and Jennifer Chey won its sets, 6-2, 6-0, 6-2, and visiting Rosary (14-3, 5-1) remained alone in first place in league.

In Empire League tennis:

Los Alamitos 12, Katella 6--Laura Brun won her singles sets, 6-3, 6-1, 6-0, to help visiting Los Alamitos (14-2, 9-0) clinch the league championship.

In Orange League tennis:

Brea-Olinda 9, Savanna 9 (Brea wins on games, 73-66)--Visiting Brea was led by the No. 1 doubles team of Elice Crowder and Elizabeth Kozma, who swept, 6-0, 6-3, 6-0.
