49ers Basketball Team Will Play at Undefeated Arizona
The Cal State Long Beach men’s basketball team, which has yet to exhibit any of its preseason promise, will play No. 2-ranked Arizona at 3 p.m. Saturday in Tucson’s McKale Center.
The game will be broadcast by KORG (1190).
After barely getting by Chicago State, 84-81, Monday night in their home opener, the 49ers are 1-1. They lost last Saturday night at North Texas, 94-82.
Long Beach is shooting only 39% from the field and has made 50 turnovers. Sophomore guard Lucious Harris is leading the 49ers with an average of 28 points a game.
Arizona is 5-0 after beating Western Illinois, 90-51, Monday night.
