Rancho Santiago 102, Orange Coast 68--Erik Martin had 22 points and Corie Blount had 19 for host Rancho Santiago (27-2, 9-1). Martin made 10 of 12 shots from the field and Blount made nine of 11, and became the sixth player in school history to score 1,000 points. Blount now has 1,010 points.

Riverside 86, Golden West 84--Scott Campbell was fouled attempting a three-point shot with two seconds remaining but made only one of three free throws for the host Rustlers (11-17, 3-7).

Golden West 95, Riverside 87--Jennifer Harney scored a game-high 26 points at Riverside as Golden West clinched at least a tie for the conference title. Golden West (28-1, 10-0) can win the title outright Friday when the Rustlers play host to Cypress.

Orange Coast 76, Rancho Santiago 48--Erika Manning scored 21 points for host Orange Coast (13-15, 3-6). Manning also had seven rebounds to set the school’s career record. She has 524 rebounds with three games left.

In the Cypress Kiwanis Baseball Tournament:

Cypress 12, El Camino 1--Todd Blyleven allowed five hits and a run in seven innings to win a first-round game. Blyleven (2-0), a freshman right-hander who transferred from Oklahoma, had five strikeouts and walked three. Sophomore Doug McConathy had three hits and five runs batted in. He hit a grand slam in the sixth inning to give Cypress a 9-1 lead.

Long Beach 4, Golden West 3--Mark Beljajev led off the ninth with a home run to break a 3-3 tie for visiting Long Beach. Jeff Henderson (1-1), who pitched eight-plus innings, took the loss. Steve Rath hit a two-run home run in the first for Golden West (2-3).

In the Palomar Golf Invitational:

Saddleback wins--The Gauchos had four players tie for second with five-over 77s to win at Rancho California.
