Dominguez 60, Sunny Hills 52--Dominguez went on a 13-0 run midway through the second quarter for the victory at Sunny Hills. Sunny Hills (18-8) held a 21-16 lead with 6:30 left in the second quarter when Dominguez scored the next 13 points, including a trio of three-pointers by Kevin McKinney, to take a 29-21 lead with 2:45 left in the half.
“We lost our discipline toward the end of the first half,” said Sunny Hills Coach Steve White. “Our guys just got a little nervous. . . .”
Sunny Hills junior Terry Mann had 19 points and 10 rebounds senior guard Dominic Carnesi added 21 points.
