“We expect to win every game, it’s just a matter of what the score is going to be,” Harbor Coach Tony Bloomfield said. “It was kind of disappointing losing the shutout at the end.”

Ricardo Gutierrez scored Harbor’s first run on a first-inning throwing error by Moorpark catcher Brandan Banaga.

The Seahawks scored three runs in the fourth. Right fielder Rodney Garcia drove in a run with a single to right field and Erik Russell drove in two with a single to left to give Harbor a 4-0 lead.

Rene Lopez drove home Gutierrez and Erik Russell with a single to right in the sixth. Harbor scored its last run in the eighth when Moorpark reliever Rob Teasdale tried to pick off Chris Culbert at third. Instead, Teasdale threw the ball against the fence, allowing Culbert to jog home.

Campos got himself into a jam in the ninth that allowed Moorpark (10-17) to score. The right-hander from Venice High replaced sophomore John Matich, who gave up two hits in two innings.

Campos loaded the bases with one out and Billy Hall ripped a single up the middle for a run batted in. The Raiders scored their second run on a fielder’s choice.
