Fountain Valley 4, Cerritos 0--Pitcher Rae Rice (14-3) struck out seven and Fountain Valley scored all its runs in the first two innings.

Jennifer Allchin led off the game with a slap hit to right field, and Danelle Lovetro reached first on an error by third baseman Melissa Sandoval.

Shannon Dolan sacrificed to move Allchin and Lovetro to third and second, and Rebel pitcher Ashley Harmon walked Rice to load the bases.

Allchin came home when catcher Remy Yamaguchi tried to pick her off third but threw wildly. First baseman Michelle Kravick then hit a 3-0 pitch over the head of left fielder Kristi Krebs to score two.
