Pat O’Curran of Fullerton College has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Southern California College, Vanguard Coach Bill Reynolds said Monday.
O’Curran, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 9.6 points and 5.8 assists last season for the Hornets. Before Fullerton, he played at Troy High School.
The Vanguards also signed James Tidey, a 6-9 center from Sydney, Australia. Tidey, who will be a freshman, has played organized basketball for only two years.
Reynolds said Tidey will likely red-shirt this season.
