Hats Off to Garagiola for Hall of Fame Tribute

Hats off to Bryant Gumbel and NBC’s “Today” show on Friday, July 19, for their tribute to Joe Garagiola and his induction into baseball’s Hall of Fame. It was a sad day when he was taken off the “Game of the Week.” My all-time color commentator favorites are that sincere, lovable, bald-headed Italian and Dizzy Dean before him. Thanks, Joe, for all you’ve done for baseball and, more importantly, the forgotten ones of the game.
