Nunn Arrested After Domestic Squabble
Michael Nunn, five-time International Boxing Federation middleweight champion, was arrested Wednesday after he hit his girlfriend, leaving bruises on her arm, authorities said.
Nunn, 28, was taken into custody by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies shortly after noon at his Agoura Hills home, said Deputy Rafael Estrada.
Loretha Boyce, 28, called for help, saying Nunn became violent during an argument, Estrada said.
“Ms. Boyce said he slapped her several times during an argument over problems with their relationship,” Estrada said.
Nunn was booked at the Malibu sheriff’s station for investigation of felony infliction of corporal injury. He was released after posting $15,000 bail. Arraignment was set for Sept. 25 in Malibu Municipal Court.
