Tulsa Defeats Southwest Missouri St., 34-13

TULSA, Okla. —
T.J. Rubley threw for four touchdowns and Ron Jackson rushed for a career-high 171 yards and a score as Tulsa beat Division I-AA Southwest Missouri State, 34-13, Saturday night.
Rubley, who missed nearly all of last season with torn knee ligaments, completed 19 of 29 passes and was able to move around the pocket to avoid the Bears’ rush.
Jackson, a junior tailback, had six carries of at least 10 yards.
