A 23-year-old man was arrested after his parents were shot and seriously wounded Friday at their Palmdale house, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

Stacey Blackman was being held without bail at the Antelope Valley Sheriff’s Station on suspicion of shooting Charles Blackman, 52, and Judy Ann Blackman, 45, said Deputy Ed Grantham. The shootings occurred at about 3 p.m. after an argument in a house in the 40900 block of 32nd Street West near Avenue O. The younger Blackman was arrested without incident at the home, where all three lived, Grantham said.

Charles Blackman was in serious condition at Holy Cross Medical Center and his wife was in critical condition at Antelope Valley Hospital, spokesmen for both hospitals said.
